Job Summary: The Operation Theatre Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in the operation theatre, ensuring a safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures. This role involves working closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care during surgical interventions. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare the operation theatre before surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterilized and ready for use. - Assist surgeons and anesthetists during operations, providing necessary instruments and supplies as required. - Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during surgery, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies. - Maintain a sterile environment in the operation theatre, adhering to infection control protocols. - Document all surgical procedures and patient care activities accurately and timely. - Provide post-operative care and instructions to patients as needed.
