Job Summary: The Staff Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) will provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill children, ensuring their safety and well-being. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for pediatric patients in the PICU. - Monitor and interpret vital signs and other clinical indicators to detect changes in patient condition. - Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians. - Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust care plans. - Educate and support families regarding their child's condition and care requirements. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. - Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
